Cabbage Pineapple Toss

Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ML)

a.       500 g. Shredded green cabbage

b.       250 g. Crushed pineapple 

c.       2 Green chillies cut lengthwise

d.       1″ Ginger cut into thin long strips

e.       20 g. Shredded Coconut 

f.      1 tsp. Jeera (Cummin seeds)

g.     1 tsp. turmeric powder

g.       1/2 tsp. Garam Masala

h.       salt to taste

i.      A few curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Take a wok, place on medium fire, add 2 tbsp. oil; when oil is hot, add the jeera, curry leaves, cut chillies and ginger.
  2. Stir well and add the shredded cabbage.
  3. Stir again then add turmeric, garam masala and salt.
  4. Cover the wok and let it cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Keep in mind that the cabbage does not burn by constantly tossing. 
  6. Next, add the pineapple and the coconut. Stir well.
  7. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Your  Cabbage Pineapple Toss is now ready.
