PRANIC Pumpkin

Pumpkin is said to have a lot of pranic energy which helps those who practice meditation.

Prep Time

30 mins

 

 Ingredients 

  1. 450 g yellow pumpkin, cut into 2″ pieces. 
  2. 4-5 green chillies
  3. 2″ ginger sliced to thin pieces
  4. 3 tbsp oil 

Masala:

1 tsp jeera 

 1 tsp turmeric

 1 tsp amchur powder

 few curry leaves

Salt to taste  

Procedure

  1. Take a small wok, add the oil and place on medium heat. When oil is hot, add the jeera, green chillies and ginger. Stir for 1 minute.
  2. Wash the cut pumpkin drain the water and add to the wok. Add 10 ml. water.
  3.  Add the turmeric, amchur powder and salt. Stir the mixture, cover and cook on medium heat for 10 – 15 mins. Keep checking if the pumpkin is cooked periodically.
  4. Turn off heat when pumpkin is tender. Your pumpkin dish is now ready to eat along with hot  bread/roti.
  5. Enjoy!
